S.K. Cheong joined TVB in 1989, and is responsible for marketing, strategic development technology oversight and general management matters. He oversees development initiatives such as publishing, internet development, mobile TV development, and Digital Terrestrial TV. He CEO of TVB.COM and sits on the board of many of the subsidiaries of the company.
On 18 April last year, TVB bosses in Hong Kong flipped the switch on streaming platform myTV SUPER and went live with hopes, dreams and targets of reaching 1.4 million users by the broadcast giant's 50th anniversary in November 2017. In July this year, the service hit four million users. That's 185% more than they expected and four months ahead of schedule. S.K.
