Peter Tsi

Peter Tsi joined the Motion Picture Industry Association (MPIA) of Hong Kong in 1991 as Chief Executive, representing the industry on issues including censorship, copyright protection, co-production, etc.

In 1993 Peter worked with director Kirk Wong, co-written Jackie Chan’s CRIME STORY, ORGANIZED CRIME & TRIAD BUREAU and ROCK N’ ROLL COP. He then developed GEN-X COPS and GEN-Y COPS with director Benny Chan. Peter also collaborated with producer/director Peter Ho-Sun Chan on PERHAPS LOVE, which launched Peter Chan in the then opening China market.

From 2003 to 2013, Peter was appointed by Pepsi Cola Greater China as Creative Consultant. His creative contributions included the phenomenal CNY Bring Happiness Home campaign.

Peter Tsi joined HONG KONG CABLE TV in 1996 and was appointed to several positions including Programme Controller, Operations Controller and Online Development Controller for i-CABLE Communications.

In 2001 Peter was appointed the Director of the HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, steering its successful transition from government organization to an independent non-profit. He also instigated and founded two affiliate events: Asian Film Awards and Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum.

In 2008, Peter Tsi collaborated with Peter Ho-Sun Chan to develop and produce BODYGUARDS AND ASSASSINS, THE GUILLOTINES, and WUXIA, etc.

Peter joined Walt Disney Pictures China in 2010 as VP, Theatrical Creative, overseeing Disney’s film strategy and project development for Mainland China.

In 2011 Peter collaborated with producer Eric Tsang, developing and producing CNY hits I LOVE HONG KONG 2012 and I LOVE HONG KONG 2013. He also directed BUDDY COPS for TVB in Hong Kong.

In 2013 Peter teamed up with Taiwanese producer Angie Chai and best-selling writer Giddens to direct ACHOO!!.

From 2014 to 2017, Peter joined Louis Koo’s One Cool Film as Creative Consultant, advising on various film projects.

In 2018, Peter produced and directed 3D animated web series THE FALLEN GODS for Original Force in China.
