Cora oversees FOX Networks Group (FNG) Asia’s Chinese channels and content business, including strategy, marketing, acquisition, production & development, programming and general operations across the region. FNG’s portfolio of Chinese channels include SCM (formerly STAR Chinese Movies) and its non-linear companion service SCM PLAY, SCM Legend, STAR Chinese Channel and channel M, FNG’s Korean entertainment channel which is dubbed or subtitled in Chinese.
Under her leadership, SCM has consistently maintained its position as the top Chinese movie channel in Asia. Cora has pushed through pioneering moves for the brand such as being the first to introduce blockbuster Taiwanese films on a movie channel outside of Taiwan and overseeing the 2011 launch in Taiwan and Singapore of SCM HD, the first Chinese movie channel in high definition. She continues to lead the expansion of the whole bouquet of Chinese-language channels throughout Asia and beyond to Australia, Europe and North America.
In addition to leading the Chinese Entertainment business, Cora is also the territory head of Hong Kong, where she oversees the distribution, business operations and overall P&L for FNG in this market.
Cora joined STAR TV in 2009, which soon after became FOX Networks Group. Prior to her joining STAR TV, Cora was the Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning for IMAGI, a Hong Kong listed animation house. As a 15-year veteran of the Chinese film industry, she has extensive experience managing content distribution, acquisition and marketing as well as cinema operations with a number of renowned companies, including major film studios Media Asia Group and Golden Harvest Entertainment. She has spearheaded industry breakthrough projects such as the first multiplex cinema in China, and the distribution and marketing of the globally acclaimed Infernal Affairs film series, which was later re-made into a Hollywood blockbuster movie.
Cora holds a Communications degree from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
